How do I know if my tree needs to be removed?

Will my homeowner’s insurance cover tree removal?

In many cases, insurance covers tree removal if the tree has fallen due to a storm and caused damage to a structure (home, fence, garage, etc.). If you’re unsure, we recommend checking with your insurance provider.

What happens to the wood and debris after removal?

We offer multiple options! We can haul everything away, leave wood for firewood, or chip smaller branches for mulch, depending on your preference.

How much does tree removal cost?

Pricing depends on tree size, location, condition, and difficulty of removal. Trees near power lines, structures, or in tight spaces require more care, which can affect cost. We provide a detailed estimate and a signed agreement before starting work.

When is the best time to prune my trees?

Pruning can be done year round.
Fruit trees see greatest benefit when pruned in the dormant season. 

Can you work in areas where bucket trucks can’t reach?

Yes! Our owner is an experienced climber, allowing us to safely remove or prune trees in tight spaces, shoreland zones, and other areas where heavy equipment can’t go.

How deep do you grind stumps?

We typically grind 6–12 inches below ground level, but we can go deeper if needed, especially if you plan to replant in that area.

Do you provide emergency tree removal?

Yes! We offer emergency tree removal for storm-damaged or hazardous trees. Call us immediately if you have a fallen tree that poses a danger to your home or property.

Do you need to access my property for the estimate?

In most cases, yes. A quick site visit allows us to accurately assess the tree's condition, location, and any potential challenges. If you're not home, we can still evaluate the tree and provide a detailed quote.

Do you offer seasonal tree care services?

Yes! We provide year-round tree care, including winter pruning, tree removals, spring tree health evaluations, and fall storm preparation. Each season has different tree care needs, and we’re happy to help you keep your trees healthy all year long.
